We're not sure what happened here. The chocolatier isn't talking. Moving on.
There was a plan. There was absolutely a plan. And then somewhere between "elegant white chocolate swirl" and whatever this turned out to be, the plan went completely out the window and nobody in the building made eye contact for the rest of the afternoon.
The Unexpected Finish is a pillowy, pale, creamy white chocolate ball generously topped with what our legal team has asked us to simply refer to as "decorative curls." They are enthusiastic. They are plentiful. They arrived with the chaotic energy of someone who simply had too much to give and nowhere appropriate to put it.
And yet — it's stunning. In the most accidentally inappropriate way possible, this ball is a genuine work of art that also happens to look like the punchline to a joke we didn't write but absolutely support.
Underneath all that drama lives a smooth, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth white chocolate situation so rich and creamy it almost makes you forget what you're looking at. Almost.
Did we plan this? No. Are we keeping it on the menu permanently? Absolutely yes. Some happy accidents are too good to correct.
Unexpected. Undeniable. Completely unhinged. Delicious.
